Wedding is Waiting!

Bespoken For's very own designer and stylist is getting married on Saturday 26th July, so she understands first hand the needs of brides. With three days to go Jenni Said "I am a bag of nerves already!". Jenni is planning to take a short break out of the business for a honeymoon but will do her best to ensure that there is minimum disruption as possible.

We asked Jenni if she had any tips for brides to be:

1. Get help. Let everyone feel involved in planning your wedding but be sure to let them know that it is your day and you will have the final say.

2. Keep you chin up. Sometimes it can be a painful process getting ready for a wedding: People can't make it or don't like your choices etc. You can't please everyone, it is your day and you need to please yourself, if you are happy that's all that matters.

3. Groom Speech Help. My fiance was petrified at doing his speech to help him we brainstormed together funny stories about our parents and us and I encouraged him to write it as more of a story than a speech. Making it amusing helped him to remember and made him feel confident in speaking in public. Your guests are there to support you not to make notes on your public speaking techniques after all.

4. Sparkle your way. Ever the bespoken for queen I think it is really important that you feel comfortable in your outfit and accessories and don't compromise.

5. Relax and Enjoy. The day is about you and your partner your love and commitment to each other. Not the dress, not the cake, not the meal.......... if it goes wrong it will make you laugh in a few years; you will still look back with fond memories of your day no matter what happens so let it flow, relax and enjoy.

p.s. my other top tip is to cleanse exfoliate tone and moisturise. If you want to look radiant on you wedding day sandpaper skin isn't a good look!

Aphrodite Converting tiara/necklace

Alway a fan of a challenge I was recently asked to create a design suitable for a greek goddess. The idea was for the tiara to sit across the forehead in the style of the ultra fashionable bando's.

I felt a great idea would be to make the jewellery something that could be worn again and convert into a necklace.

Armed with these design briefs and inspired by the brides dress this is my latest bespoke creation.
